Over the past 4 years my husband, a reservist, has been deployed to Afghanistan twice. We rent an apartment, because there has been no stability in our lives that make owning a house possible. We have worked really hard to make it our home! In the next few months we will be moving a few times, 1st to my Mother in Law's home, and then again only a few months later to a small community where my husband will start a new career. Although Winnipeg has been our 'Home' for the past few years, Home to me is wherever we can be together!
The beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
This place has been our home since Halloween 1986. Just celebrated our 25th year here. I have lived here longer than anywhere else. It is home to 6 of us. My wife Peggy, and Mike, Joe , Fran & Dan.
I used to live across the river in Bridge City, I have since moved to the east bank, which, with the way the Mississippi River meanders, is the north bank because it is referred to as the south shore when using Lake Ponchartrain as the point of reference, but who is geographical? It's a great place to grow roses, drink beer and await the next Dierks Bentley show!
Home for me is enjoying my life. My friends, my family, and lovin my wife. Singing & playing some country music, and hunting & fishing every chance I get... I love the way that Arizona treats me, and I'm not going to leave just yet. Life is short and I believe.... we all need to spend more time at our "home".
Two kids, a dog, my wife and me make Katy, Texas our home. Great schools, nice people and Texas give us everythig we need to live happy, free and easy down the road we go!
