Got the e-mail today about the pre-sale for Dierks in NYC. Wondering if he will be coming up to Boston on this new tour? Hasn't been here in a while. GET UP HERE! :)
Found out this morning that Dierks is coming to Boston Feb 4th at the Hard Rock for a WKLB show, when they announced it I got right on to find out when tickets would go on sale and the show was already sold out. Not sure how they can sell out the day the concert is announced. And I also don't understand why the fan club members weren't informed of this before tickets went on sale. Pretty upset that I have been a fan club member for a long time and got no notice of this.
Yeah can't say I was thrilled with the Boston/Hard Rock ticket process. Had 4 VIP tickets for the "Meet and Greet" in my cart, purchased them did the whole procedure only to have the website kick me out, when I got back there were no more VIP tickets. Most people have a story, mine is that my wife and I are expecting our first child, a boy, at the end of February, she desperately wanted to go to the VIP because the music, and most specifically "Soon As You Can" is so important to us both that my son's name will be Bentley.
Unfortunately the website that sold the tickets for the Boston show was a disaster and couldn't handle the demand. Luckily we still got general admission tickets, so my ready to give birth wife can still go to the show, which ultimately is the most important thing to her.
I am so excited to see that Dierks is coming to Boston. It sold out so fast though I was not able to get tickets.I can"t believe I am going to miss it. And as someone above said everyone has a story. I recently had open heart surgery and I am still recuperating.It would have lifted my spirits to go to the show.And to boot the concert is going to charity, Tufts floating hospital, and I was at Tufts. I would have liked to support them. But I will look forward to the new album.
