I'm ZAC's Dad and I'm a little upset about him not getting a Meet and Greet.
What? Did all the Meet and Greets go to women ages 18-35 or those 36-80 who wish they were 18-35?
ZAC really likes Dierks' music..Me, it's ok, but I prefer the old-timers - like Dolly and Randy Travis, both of whom
ZAC has met. ZAC has even met Toby and Blake Shelton (3 times) and, most recently, Charlie Pride.
It's too bad...ZAC wants to be a country singer AND he is performing in Conroe next week at a local coffee shop.
He will be singing at the Liberty Opry in October. On both of these occasions, he will be leading off a "4-song set" with
Dierks' "Home."
I applied for this Meet and Greet for ZAC and I bought three expensive tickets to a show that I could care nothing about,
except for perhaps the two headliners - Dierks and Ronnie Dunn.
I don't expect a reply to this e-mail; however, ZAC has never missed a Meet and Greet Opportunity and the "heavy-hitters" above
have met him. In fact, ZAC has guitars signed by George Jones, Randy Travis, Ray Price, Michael Martin Murphey and Charlie
Pride,
It's too bad that Dierks can't take the time to meet a future country singer, a little boy that likes his music and part
of the next generation of country music fans,
Consider us "out." I'll eat the cost of the website membership...thank goodness it wasn't a $25-40 membership.
I just hope that I can "ditch the tickets" for a reasonable loss.

This website is so "user unfriendly" that it does not even allow you to cancel the account ?
Please send cancellation instructions so that I can do so immediately.
Also, the term "denied" when it comes to a Meet and Greet request is a little harsh !
You might want to come up with another word that won't hurt an 11-year old.

It's done by a lottery by the dièrks.com staff. Dièrks himself has no part in it. Sorry that you did not get one, but this is extremely excessive.
I love my son and I want him
I love my son and I want him to be happy. I see no reason why one extra person can't be added to the list. Taylor Swift and others go to excessive lengths to meet their fans...
As I stated previously, if you'll provide a link to cancel, I'll do so.

Obviously you don't know much
Obviously you don't know much about Dierks....he is all about his fans!! Sounds like you care more about "the autograph" than the wonderful experience of the concert.
Just because you didn't get a M&G for your son, doesn't mean you might not get an opportunity to see him running around the venue prior to the show. Dierks usually gets out and walks the area and sometimes you get lucky and see him. If you do, he'll stop and talk.
BTW, memberships are non-refundable. That was stated when you bought the membership. Fan club members can get 2 m&g's per membership year, so maybe next time your son will have better luck. If they give you an "extra" pass, everyone would be requesting an "extra one" for their party, too.
The cost of the membership is
The cost of the membership is nominal...I know that it's not refundable.
"The autograph" is not what I was after..."The Picture" was.
I collect 8*10 photos of all the country artists that ZAC has/ or will meet so that he'll have "a record" of some of his childhood experiences. I know that ZAC will enjoy the concert.
The only two opportunities for ZAC to have had a M&G were the concert dates scheduled for June 15th and 16th, 2012.
There are no other concert dates that are feasible for us to attend.
I'll just let the membership expire and try another country artist next time.

Wow...I'm sorry to hear
Wow...I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad experience but I assure you that's not the way it is around here. I've had numbers of meet n greets and I have also had some denials but that hasn't stopped me from going to concerts and listening to music that I love. Sometimes I'm front row and sometimes I'm in the lawn far away from the stage but you should show your son the love of the music. Isn't that what it's all about anyway? Better luck next time...don't give up ;)
