Beautiful World*

Hi, my name is Bobbie Lynn & My home is now in Carlsbad, New Mexico, although for 19 years i lived in Hidalgo, Texas (Rio Grande Valley). I now consider Carlsbad my home because this is where my old man lives. My dad is my number one hero. He was in the Marines for 13 yrs & worked for the United Nations & European Union for 8 yrs & still managed to be the greatest dad ever! He has supported me through everything including my dream to become a singer! I wouldn't be here either if it wasn't for my beautiful mom. She was a little strict, but i know now it was only for the better. Love you Mom & Dad :). I also have to mention that "my home" is where i have all my critters, which include my 2 dogs (panchita & chenny)& my cat (edward). They just make my life that much more fun; they're like my kids :D My family back home in Hidalgo, Tx. mean the world to me. We are all so close & have the greatest bond. My sisters & younger brother, & nephew (Jackie, Sarah, Patrick, & Kaleb) are my rock. They can make me smile anytime & they are always there for me! My boyfriend Joey is one of my inspirations :) Weather we bicker or we just have fun, i can always write a song about it :).
Now, i can't say that we are always the happiest family. About 4 years ago my Uncle Joe (Dads brother) was Diagnosed with cancer. A while later we found out that it was caused by Agent Orange from when he was in Vietnam. My Uncle Joe was in the Army just like my dad & most of my dad's brothers & sisters. He was really a family man & would do anything in world for us. When he was Diagnosed, it was a really big shock to the family. It happened so quickly. I remember seeing him 2 weeks before he passed & he said "Bobbie lynn, i want you to follow your dreams. Don't give up mija!..& don't forget to write a song about your Uncle Joe" when he said that, i couldn't help but break down. Till this day, i know he still feels the same way & he is watching over me. So, my family is a HUGE reason why i such a big supporter of our Troops. They not only fight for their own family, but for their country!
And last but not least, no where would be home without the man upstairs, God himself. He's made anywhere i'm at the most comfortable place ever. I've been a HUGE Dierks fan for over 5yrs now & i would just LOVE this opportunity. Hope y'all enjoyed my story!!! God bless!
