Home Is Where The Rump Rests

For me, home is the memory of a place that I left over a year ago to serve in the U.S. Peace Corps. Since walking out of the front door 17 months ago my journey has taken me a long way from home, leading me to teach English to visually impaired children in Eastern Europe.
While home is never far from my mind I have been truly blessed to find a new family within my fellow volunteers; a motley group of nomadic souls from every corner of the United States. In 9 short months I will make the 5,000 mile journey "on a plane bound west" a changed person.
Home is not only the reward at the end of my service but it is my motivation, every single day, to help those in need, guide those who are lost and care for those who are lonely.
