My One Light Town called Saegertown

The first song that I ever played live in front an audience was "My Last Name". To me that song changed a lot things in my life. I decided to chase my dream of being a singer and songwriter. Dierks' music has been a huge influence on my music and who I am as a person. I truly believe that music can save people, which is why I make music. The start of this dream started right at home in my small one light town called Saegertown. My parents raised me up and supported everything that I did. Whether it be when I was playing high school sports or singing in the choir at school. Without God and them in my life, I probably wouldn't be where I am at today. Home to me was the place where I grew up. It's where all my friends were and where we grew up together. And in a small town of about a thousand people, you take pride in saying where you are from. Since leaving for school and the pursuit of being a musician, I've had to call the city my home for some time now. Where ever the road takes me in the future, whether it be Nashville or another town, my TRUE home will always be Saegertown, PA. Home has a different meaning to everyone. To me it’s the place where I can go and relax, and reminisce about the past. Proud to be from Northwest Pennsylvania.
